BLIND BINGO PLAYER CAN PLAY AUDIBLE BINGO

A bingo player has won the right to use audible bingo cards to play with in bingo halls. Joanna Richardson from Rochester has impaired vision and uses electronic audible bingo cards so she can play bingo. However, she had to put this on silent mode before winning the right to use it.
The electronic card beeps when she hits a bingo. Other players complained about the noise and therefore she was restricted from using her audible bingo card. Despite this, she made a complaint to the Racing and Wagering Board and they ruled that blind players are allowed to use the audible bingo card in bingo halls. This ruling should encourage more blind people to enjoy a game of bingo.

SEVERAL ONLINE BINGO SITES CHOOSE VIRTUE FUSION

Recently, several online bingo sites have either switched to or have started their sites with the bingo network Virtue Fusion. These include, Paddy Power, Virgin Bingo, Shipleys, Svenska Bingo and Talarius.
Virtue Fusion develops bingo and networked gaming solutions for the online gaming industry partnering with online gaming firms. Its network of sites offer some of the largest prizes on the net and is believed to boast over 6,000 concurrent players.

Posh Bingo relaunched with TV advertising campaign

Daub Ltd who own the online bingo websites Posh Bingo, Wink Bingo and Bingo Fabulous have began a major television advertising campaign after relaunching the Posh Bingo website.
First of all the Posh Bingo website was redesigned, then it was made a standalone website as it was taken off the globalcom network of websites and lastly four television adverts were made and are currently being shown on TV at the moment.
Speaking about the adverts and relaunch, marketing director Maurice Karpes said, “There’s a sense of humour about the whole way we’ve put the Posh Bingo site together. So, similarly, we wanted the advertising to reflect this and show that, to coin a phrase, you don’t have to be posh to play Posh. We also gave a lot of thought to the actual look and feel of the site. We think the whole design of Posh Bingo is much more elegant than the other sites out there.” › Continue reading
