Latest research is showing how the younger generation are flocking to online bingo. 18 to 24 year olds are now making up around 700,000 of the 3.5million strong bingo players in Britain alone. Bingo was always looked at as a game for the old but it is now becoming a hit with the young both online and in the bingo halls. In fact the online bingo world is getting younger with 3 out of 5 players being under the age of 45.
The increase is due to the social aspect of online chatting which is now available at most online casinos. With bingo being seen as a Retro game, it is now very trendy to be playing. Another reason is that the younger generation are more internet aware and the availability of the internet is wider and easily accessible.
There has also been an 11% increase in white collar professionals and skilled workers who now play online bingo, bringing them up to 38% of the market in Britain. They find it an easy form of relaxation and socialisation along with the chance of making a few extra pounds. Land based bingo halls popularity is starting to slide and online bingos are raising thanks to the young. Online Casinos will no doubt follow this new trend and push their advertising campaigns towards their new demographic.
